Stella Damascus, Funmi Iyanda, 2face Idibia, Julius Agwu & Others honored at Charity Lounge Lagos ‘Heroes Induction’



Thursday, 12th of July, Creative Five World held yet another remarkable edition of its Charity Lounge Lagos at Terra Kulture, V.I, Lagos. The event themed an Afternoon of Heroes Induction was highly successful and entertaining and saw in attendance lots of guests who came to experience a charitable outing dedicated to Autism Awareness and acknowledging agents of change who are living their lives in the overhaul of others. Nollywood’s Finest, Joseph Benjamin and Renowned Filmmaker, Dotun Taylor were the host who made sure everyone had a fun filled Afternoon. Guests were treated to lavish cocktails, finger foods with lunch from Terra kulture.

Those honored at the event were Stella Damasus, Gerald Azonobo, Innocent Idibia, Funmi Iyanda, Julius Agwu, Bake for Change, The Future Project, Lamboginny say no to Crime, Save Laura Campaign and Kuth Foundation.

The event was proudly supported by Supermom Reality Show, Ali Baba, Darlington Abuda, Zapphaire Event, Beauty Overdose Magazine, TT Dalk, Okechukwu Ofili, Terra Kulture, Fabulous!, DJ Sose, Abosede, Bayo Omoboriowo, Patrick Speech and Language Centre as well as Public spirited individuals and the Media.

Dignitaries at the events were Jide Ologun, Chairman NIPR Lagos Chapter, Eni Balogun of Lise Beauty, Bolanle Austeen Peters of Terra Kulture, Juliet Esiri, Directors of the Lagos Cheshire Home, Korede Bello, and Lolo & Ogbolor of Wazobia FM. Speaking on the Heroes Induction, Chaste Inegbedion (Executive Director, Creative Five World) said “Though there were significant difficulties in organizing this event and getting the inductees present especially on a weekday, but we are excited that the turnout was impressive and the Awareness of the First Autism Film in Nigeria was a plus to our credibility to secure sponsorships for charity homes and to raise role models as advocates for more charitable projects, which is the essence of the Charity Lounge Lagos and we are at all times proud of our heroes, both the individuals and initiatives we encompass.”

The next edition ‘CHARITY LOUNGE LAGOS 3.0’ is expected to be held in commemoration of Nigeria’s 52nd Independence Anniversary and Cancer Awareness Month in October 2012.
