The Dubai - based upcoming artiste - who accused Ubi Franklin of $500 is doing so for publicity, the manager has divulged. Explaining the ordeal to AMehDaily exclusively he informed that he first met the artiste in Calabar but turned down his plea to be his manager. He later contacted the manager to have his new song on Notjustok, where Ubi Franklin has a percentage in the annual concert put together by the popular music blog.
Ubi Franklin reacted and calls his claim a lie saying the refund for the $500 was made four weeks ago after the song was considered below the music platform's standard and it is now been made a fuzz for the sake of publicity. 'I won't be reacting to the story, it is a big lie', Ubi said.
